Macaroni at sunset

A late visit to the Little Mac colony gave us some great views at sunset. There were about 60 birds there by the time we left, up from 40 earlier in the day. Despite the huge waves crashing on the rocks hindering their exit from the ocean, numbers are starting to build up and some individuals are shifting stones about to start building nests.
