Laptop Day

My new laptop arrived today, as can be expected I spent a fair while playing around setting it up, this will continue into tomorrow. Its a shame the operating system is Windows 8, I did consider updating to 8.1 but have read some dire warnings about the update, so will wait a few days for it to settle down. Anyway I did the important things, setting up Silkypix (my RAW post processor) and Picasa to enable me to try out tonight's blip photo on the laptop rather than my tablet.

Ann did manage to drag me away this afternoon for coffee at Costa and I took a few pics on the way home. This is the memorial gardens where the cenotaph stands and the poppies will be laid next month.
