Another foggy morning

but with some sunny breaks. What a lovely walk I had. Every now and then, the fog would lift and the sun would shine through. The rays coming through the trees were like spotlights illuminating parts of the forest. It was breathtaking, and I wish I were a better photographer so that I could capture the beauty. I took a lot of photos, if you're interested in having a look, and I chose this one because I liked the berries and the fog in the trees.

I remember memorizing this poem by Carl Sandburg in high school. I love the imagery.

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
