The Tall Ships

Tomorrow is the start of the long weekend and there is a gathering of Tall Ships from around the world heading into Auckland. I spotted the first one coming round the headland of Whangaparoa as the ferry came in tonight so I thought I would head out with my camera. There are 5 of the ships currently at anchor off Gulf Harbour. Tomorrows trip out of the harbour should be interesting. The ship to the foreground is The Lord Nelson from the UK with the Spirit of New Zealand to the left.
