Tuscan Sunrise

Whilst on holiday on a farm in Montalcino, Tuscany, I became facinated with this tree as a photographic subject. I took a number of images from different angles at various times of the day. This is my favourite and I love the way the sunlight is gradually lighting up the landscape, whilst there is an atmospheric haze in the mountains in the far distance.
In many ways this sums many of my fondest memories of this wonderful area - light, mountains, rolling hills, farms, golden fields and interesting photographic subjects at every turn.
