Prickly!

Yesterday I blipped an early bud on my Chr***mas cactus plant. What I didn't know, until I watched Eggheads earlier in the week, is that they aren't actually members of the cactus family! Instead, they belong to the 'Schlumbergera' genus of plants. This one though really is a cactus, although I can't remember what sort. It has very long prickly spikes, but they curl under so you don't get attacked every time you go to water it... unlike its neighbour you can see in the background!
