Hat Hill

This is the name of the road I live on, named after the hill formation just down the road, where 360 degree views are to be had, with vistas way into the distance and into the valleys around, the Grose Valley in particular.

Tonight was the second night with Tom's new friend, and this time we also had the company of her mother for drinks. We shot down to Hat Hill, climbing up to check out the fires, the views and enjoy a champagne or two.

It was quite amazing - beautiful blue skies on one side, turn around and bruised billowing clouds on the other, quite close.

Apart from the fact that Nicky's mum was wearing white - not good when bushwalking through burnt out bush, it was quite a success I thought.

Delighted to report that Mother and daughter both lovely :)
