Beauty Salon

This is A and her friend H, playing beauty salon. I absolutely love observing (and sometimes eavesdropping on) A with her girlfriends, because they are at an age now where their interactions are filled with imagination and with all of the pure sweetness, innocence, and intensity of childhood friendship.

It was a tough call to choose a blip today, though, because I also snapped a shot of E being a total ham in the grocery store, clutching a bunch of asparagus.

Both of these images are representations of why I started this blog - it is inspiring me to capture moments in our everyday life, and reflect and be grateful for the beauty therein.
