Well, fancy that (yawn)!

My great-great-great-great-grandad Hugh Dalrymple, was interred just over the wall of this churchyard in March 1835. But I'd actually come to visit a newer addition. Aye indeed, because a statue of Robert Louis Stevenson was unveiled yesterday by Ian Rankin. Apparently the great man's (not Rankin though he's greatish) grandad was the meenister at Colinton from 1823 to 1860 and he visited the place as a boy. Michty. We're almost related. After that I did stroll down the Dell. But now that it's blustery and wet outside I've settled on the sofa. That was quite impressive by Torres, if you're watching.
