Vondelpark

The Vondelpark is Amsterdam's busiest public park with more than 10 million visitors a year. The park is particularly lovely now with the colour of fall. It is about 2K from end to end and we are lucky that it is only .5K from our apartment. People enjoy the park for many purposes. Some, like me, were out for a jog. There were also families playing soccer with their children in the open spaces. Commuters cycled quickly through the park, and those with a day off cycled or strolled more slowly. And, dogs were out with their people. Some were playing, some were walking, and some were riding in baskets on their owners' bikes! When I see these royal dogs, I am reminded of own my little princess, Lacey, who is being well spoiled by K's parents while we are away.
