Friday 4 September 2009: The Tooth Robot
I had an appointment with DrD today, to see about doing something with the two gaps left by the teeth which fell foul of his pliers.
As I walked into the room, I heard tooth fairies singing and became immersed in a heavenly blue glow. It was a truly magical experience.
When I finally came round, John introduced me to his latest acquisition - the Cerec MC XL, the future of dentistry. Finally, it's possible to eat as many Mars Bars as you like then, when your teeth have rotted away, pop down the dentist, stick a computer in your mouth and have it make you some new ones.
I'm getting six. (And hoping the next time I visit my GP he's got one that does brains.)
Thanks for all your support yesterday (Blip's the best when you're on a downer). Bella's bounced back, Layla's out of bed and I managed to squeeze Wednesday into Thursday, delivering my big piece of work this evening. Oh, and it's the weekend.
Cheers!
P.S. - Hippopotamus!
