Saturday afternoon shopping

It was a lovely, warm day, so K and I took advantage of the opportunity to walk to City Centrum to do a little shopping for our apartment. We meandered slowly through our neighbourhood, discovering interesting shops and cozy restaurants along the way. Next, we had a leisurely stroll through the Vondelpark, taking in the beauty of the fall colours and enjoying the atmosphere of the normal park activities.

Then we arrived in the shopping district. People, people and more people. As far as the eye could see. It seems as if most of Holland also thought it was a good day to shop in the City Centre. While some looked like they were enjoying the hustle and bustle, others appeared somewhat less appreciative of the experience…
