Learning day by day

Paths of Hitchin

After yesterday the children are slightly tired. They didn't sleep in, but considering the clocks changing I don't think that 06.15 (Carys) and 06.45 (William) is too bad, it certainly could have been a lot worse.

The morning comprised of Carys starting a colouring competition and William playing with his new Tree Fu Tom jigsaws that C gave him. They both moved on to lego and then we headed out to Tesco to pick up a parcel, but managed to spend £17 in the process!

Home for lunch, then we crawled walked into Hitchin along some of it's many paths. Library visited successfully and Mummy burdened with too many books to be funny, I decided to stop for a coffee before the drag back home. Carys read one of her books and William coloured a picture for T. The were so well behaved I was proud of them even before another nursery Mum commented on good they were.

Tonight I do potentially, my last antenatal class and Daddy is doing bedtime. Tonight is the first time we won't sit in W's bedroom while he goes to sleep, we have compromised with us sitting on the landing. We shall see how it goes. We know he can do it as he doesn't need me to sit in with him when he wakes in the night, but obviously to his mind that is completely different.
