The Cliff

The sun was back for most of today. It was shining strongly on this small section of sandstone cliff highlighting the bare branches of the tree in front. That is the puzzle - Why is that tree totally bare of leaves when others around it still have most of theirs?

Maybe it is dead. Maybe it is stressed from salt water since it is growing right at the top of the beach. One day, I'll go down onto that beach to investigate.

Back home, I was surprised by a red-admiral butterfly that landed near me while I was doing a bit of tidying up / pruning of a Pyracantha.
