Hey Jude...

We spent yesterday morning, in rain and high winds, preparing for the forecast big storm, nicknamed St Jude. As the farmhouse is on top of a hill, we were going to get hit hard by any storm which blows in, so battening down the hatches was essential.
We settled down in the evening expecting whatever. We went to bed expecting a big old tree in the garden to be down in the morning. But...
Storm Jude apparently drifted South, missing our part of the country, leaving in its distant wake a beautiful morning, chilly but fresh with blue skies. Hey Jude, thanks for staying away.
