An ordinary life....

56 Sleeps...

Decided to try and get my blip done early today so popped into the garden just after Alan left for school and oh my, there hasn’t half been a drop in temperature. Brrrrrrrr……definite brass monkey weather this morning!

I found a cracking pigeon feather that was ideal for blipping so got it set up on the table and whoosh, a gust of wind carried it off never to be seen again. Bummer! Decided to settle on a leaf as there were millions of them around so no worries about the wind scuppering my blip of that.

I know this looks like one of those selective colour shots but it’s not, that is the actual washed out colour of our garden table as we can’t be arsed have never had the time to woodstain it.

Headed back inside for a heat and a cuppa then did a pile of ironing. Do not adjust your sets, you did read that right. Polishes halo

My friend Dorothy (hahaha.... just realised I am a friend of Dorothy!!) is coming tomorrow to stay for a couple of days so this afternoon’s tasks are to make a pot of carrot and coriander soup and some Mega Oat Cookies and resist eating any of either as it’s a fasting day. Yes that’s not actually thunder you’re hearing, it’s my rumbling tum!

Happy Wednesday Peeps :))

P.S. David’s visit to the Day Opportunities Centre went well yesterday and he returned feeling very positive. He was given a list of groups that Alan could join which includes wheelchair ice skating, swimming, cinema, Boccia, photography, ten pin bowling, art, trampolining and computers to name a few, although knowing him, he’ll want to join the women’s group!

PPS Plumbing update….sinks are still not draining properly. Looks like we may need another visit from the Fun Prod man!

Two years since I kissed you goodbye mum. Miss you more than ever xxx
