Trooper's Hill Revisited

Trooper's Hill Local Nature Reserve is owned by Bristol City Council and managed by Bristol Parks in partnership with the Friends of Trooper's Hill.

During my last visit back in August I had intended to capture the landmark chimney stack, a remnant of the mining age. However, I couldn't resist blipping the beautiful surroundings; which provided a good reason to return and I'm glad I did as it was glorious despite the strong breeze on this exposed spot overlooking the city.

Incidentally, the stack does lean forward slightly - I did get the camera pretty much level to avoid accentuating our very own leaning tower.
