WETLANDS REFLECTIONS.......

.... On our last day here on Phillip Island, and head home tomorrow over three days so a leisurely drive to take in a few more sights on the way. Today we had sun for the first day, and it was a superb with little wind to enjoy the area of Nobbies point which is the most southern point looking out over Bass strait, hence my comment about the weather as it can be very windy and cold. This is also the area which is world famous for the penguins coming inland at sunset. This is a major tourist attraction for the Island, and there were bus loads of Our Asian neighbours attending. Again took loads of pics but this one I liked taken at Swan Lake which is the major wetlands on the Island. Obviously the black swans, and many other varieties of bird life including the mutton bird who migrate here for breeding. This shot shows the reflections on one part of the wetlands. Off now to take the boss out to dinner on our last night here. Enjoy, and click L to view in LARGE. PS .... Again my apologies for lack of comment but assure you have been enjoying your Blips, back to normal next week!
