Wednesday 30 October 2013: Rose of Lancashire

Spotted this little rose on my way into work. It was very brave and starting to open so late in the year. If you look closely but not to close you will see it's covered in lots of tiny dew droplets.

Interestingly the Lancashire and Hampshire roses are related, both being red - though the Hampshire rose is sometimes shown as a Tudor rose.

Not much else to report for today but my cold is gradually improving and I'm feeling a lot better. Back blip.
