Channerwick

Changed subject matter several times for my subject today but have finally settled for Channerwick which is between Sandwick and Levenwick. The main road to Sumburgh is above Channerwick. I think the village must be one of the villages that sees the least amount of direct sunshine in Shetland as it is surrounded by high hills on three sides.

The old ruined church can just be made out in the bottom left quarter just about where the burn enters the sea.
