Red billed gull Chroicocephalus scopulinus feeding

Red billed gull feeding a small chick, with another chick sheltering under her. a very aggressive adult bird came flying in and the mother was forced to leave her chicks and chase it away.

This chick was the dominant one and was getting fed much more often than the other one, and was bigger.
