Luna

Luna is a pet KuneKune pig. She was out for a Sunday morning stroll in San Francisco with her people, who could not get very far as there was such a crowd around their friend. She is very friendly and looks likes she's smiling, and was happy to sit when asked, probably to get her celery treat. They say she doesn't scratch the furniture or chew things (a huge improvement over some cats I could name), and of course she doesn't bark, but makes an endearing grunting sound.

We are home from a wonderful weekend in the city, full of art and food. Today we spent a couple hours at the DeYoung Museum at the David Hockney exhibit--a must-see if you have the chance. The breadth of his work is amazing, from intricate charcoal drawings to images of Yosemite done an an IPad and blown up to fill an entire wall.
