Its a Baby!

Just about 1m from the end of my bed, a mother bird laid a couple of eggs in a nest she constructed while we were all away on holiday. She must have got a shock to find us home and that her nursery is so close to all those annoying humans. Two baby birds have survived and we watch them protectively as much as possible. Keeping teenage boys away is a challenge as they want to "get close and say hello" which mother bird might not appreciate.
