My book of photos of paintings

Called into the Hocken Collections or Library to see if they would like a copy of my recently published book. Yes please. My great grandfather is a significant early Otago painter.

There are over a hundred paintings and that is only a small part of what he did.
Ink, oils, water colours generally round Dunedin, Karitane, and the Head of the Lake Wakatipu, ie beyond Queenstown. Also Stewart Island, Napier and around the family farm. Spent nearly 3 hours yesterday with my great uncle Graeme (88) getting more details on the locations of some of the paintings.

The cover is of a steamship and a sailing ship in Dunedin Harbour.
