Saturday 9 November 2013: Firework face

Today is the day of the local primary school bonfire night. It's on the north side of the valley and we're on the south side - so we have a good view of the school and their firework display. In previous years I've used a 70-201 mm lens and mostly found that the best pictures came out at the 70 mm end. This year I used my 50 mm lens which is only marginally wider but is a lot faster which should mean that there should be less digital noise.

Took about 100 pictures, threw away about half of them and this one came out best of about half a dozen than were presentable. Hope you like it? I think it looks a bit like a face!
