A rainy day

In more ways than one.

Early this morning our second daughter, Cecile, received a hysterectomy and ovari-ectomy. Unfortunately these extreme steps were necessary when borderline ovarial cancer presented itself. The first time was five years ago, before the birth of little Miss Muffett.
We are thankful that they had the opportunity to have been blessed with this lovely little girl who has brought so much joy and love into their lives (and ours!).
On my way home from visiting gran, I popped in at the hospital where she was sleeping off the anaestethic. Looking well, but I know that there may be a few slow-go days ahead!
