FAREWELL TO THE SWAN FAMILY

in the morning, first it rained later grey but dry.
A bitof packing before we took the light rails after lunch. And from the central station the different trains that brought us in the Weser Uplands.
Between Hengelo and Bad Bentheim there was some consternation when men in uniform told the passengers to put their luggage down on the ground, or on the chairs. Then a woman with a dog came through the train, it seemed a very sweet dog to me, and h/she was told to snif alright and find the drugs if there were any.
In Bad Bentheim they left the train and not much after that happened.
In Hannover we took an earlier train because the one we should take was announced to have more than 40 minutes late. There could be a risk that we missed our last train.
There was another stir when in Hannover Messe station so many persons bordered the train, after their visit to the Fair. Constant streams going either way and it took quite a long time before the train could continue the journey.
My picture shows one of the young of the swan family.

My haiku:

Half of the day was
Dark already foreboding
Of still darker days

And the proverb:

Het is een Van Bismarck.

Translation: It is a Von Bismarck.
Menaing: It is a domineering person.
It is too late now for me to find a female equivalent.

Time to go to bed now, but tomorrow I will catch up with pleasure.
