Nosey the hen takes very good care of the 7 chicks she is mothering. A remarkable number of chicks to hatch this late in the year, and even more remarkable is that Nosey found the 10 eggs which had been laid under a bush outside the chicken run when we let the birds have the opportunity to wander around the garden.
