Catching Up

Edinburgh Botanical Gardens

We met Jonny and Lindsay in the gardens and fitted in as much of a catch up as we could in a couple of hours. They last time I saw them was the night before we went to Japan all that time ago. One of two things have happened since then!

Autumn in the Botanics is beautiful, Andy's dad is incredibly knowledgeable about trees and he showed us all of the good ones. We left the gardens and walked to Canonmills and got one of the last tables in The Orchard for lunch. We ate so much we had to walk it off with a long meander home via a bike shop, a market in Stockbridge and an outdoors shop. By the time we got to the meadows it was dark and raining!
