Chip 'n dip

This chipmunk is sitting in the water dish we usually have out for local toads and frogs to have a cool, refreshing dip. Since it is mid-November, they are all under the soil taking their winter sleep so they don't mind if chippy has a visit. It's dry now and the dish is now holding seeds and nuts, anyway, so it might as well park its furry butt down and have a snack.
