Although we were a little late (the taxi driver didn't really know where it was) we were surprised not to be allowed entry by an officious guard who would not let us approach the ticket office. So we wandered about a bit until he was no longer there and the others who had been refused entry had dispersed. Right enough the ticket office was closed so we wandered down some steps and then found the entrance .... open. So we wandered round it. I was concerned we would get locked in, but we exited with the cleaners and tried to go the way away from the guard's seat, but there was no way that way - the cleaners pointed us towards the guard. I think he saw us coming and ran away to avoid losing face.

A great museum and a very moving site.
