Preschool visit

This is one of our 31, remote, rural preschools.
Casca has visited by bicycle to do some training with the care givers.

This preschool project is run by Casca, who cycles to all these far flung and pretty inaccessible places to do training, minding and inspiring, checking roles and making notes!!. He is ably assisted by two amazing local women leaders, who keep a watchful eye on attendance, punctuality and progress. They are true leaders and get only a tiny gesture in terms of money. The overall network is huge and involves Traditional Authorities, Community leaders, development people, caregivers, porridge ladies and school committees, all volunteers, and totaling about a thousand active participants. About 2000 little ones, aged 3 to 6 attend and the big success is that almost all are now transferring to primary school.

This is a wonderful success story, totally Malawian driven and costing Wells for Zoe only a miniscule amount. With the right approach, rural Malawian women can empower themselves, because no one else can
