Silver Linings

I've been out and about delivering the new card sets today - they look rather snazzy and a blip of them may be in order when it's a wet day: 6 cards, 6 envelopes on a chosen theme, packaged in a poly bag with index card and colourful strap. Not much is selling at the mo so hopefully there'll be a mad rush soon.

As I've said before, the fun thing about delivering is the leisurely way business is conducted - you just have to take your time, enjoy the craic and catch up on the chat. One of my venues is a pub - one corner has been made very enterprisingly into a mini shop, but how snug and comfy it was. A huge fire was blazing and three elderly people were ensconced around it - what a great way to spend your day. I went over the mountain to take TJ her share and on the return trip some amazing things were happening skyward - rays and light all over the place.

Last night's film - What Maisie Knew - was a very well done tale about a very unpleasant self-centered New York couple mid divorce and seen through the eyes of their 6 year old daughter Maisie. The little girl playing Maisie was just astonishing, worth seeing just for her.
