Green enterprise

When a boat requires passage through the canal, this busy road tilts up to almost 90 degrees. The overhead tramlines disengage when the bridge opens and are rejoined when the road lowers back into place. As pedestrians, bicycles and other vehicles wait behind the gates, the underside of the road is fully exposed and a massive billboard is revealed. What an enterprising way to advertise to a captive audience! Brilliant!
