JFK 50 years on

I had just finished my first year at university (In South Africa, the academic year follows the calendar year)

I was twiddling around with my parents' state of the art radiogram late at night, listening to The Voice of America when the broadcast was interrupted to bring us the dreaded news.

It was only much later that we learned of Lee Harvey Oswald.
