Yeah! We have lift-off!

It was so lovely to see blue skies & sunshine today ....... I had been out for a quick rekkie to see if I could find a blip ..... but nothing really inspired me.

I then decided to stand at the upstairs window ........ it was blooming cold a little on the chilly side with the window open ....... but I'm brave ..... or maybe that should be foolish!!!

My patience was rewarded when this juvenile gull landed on the lamppost just outside ....... took a couple of shots ........ then he took off. As luck would have it ....... I got the shot!!! Just a shame his face is in shadow.
