"Connor" the Coal Tit

I have ALL day to myself today. Hubby is off with both sons, male relatives and friends on No:2 son's stag weekend.

I dropped them in town at 8am this morning where they were going to have a traditional English breakfast. They were then getting the train to London and will be watching Fulham play Swansea at Craven Cottage (they've organised a hospitality box so, thankfully, will also be eating lunch whilst, no doubt, consuming alcohol.

It is presumed that hubby and my relatives will then be returning back home, leaving the younger members of the stag party to pop up to Leicester Square where, I believe, they are visiting a casino (heaven help them!!!) and staying the night in a hostel.

So, that is why first thing this morning, I could please myself. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday in the garden taking photo's of the robin, so decided to set up the tripod again to watch and wait to see what visited the feeder (yes, I did use a stool this time).

The sun was shining but it was jolly cold, so I was only outside for about 45 minutes. Connor was the best of an average bunch of shots, but I really enjoyed sitting, waiting quietly and listening to the bird song all by myself, so this just had to be today's blip.

I'm going to be glued to the television this evening for Strictly followed by Dr. Who - I love days like these.

xx
