There's no buntings like snow buntings ..

Bird group today … a nice walk but fairly routine sightings. Actually our leader left halfway through because he was feeling pretty grim, so maybe we were surrounded by rarities, but just didn't realise!

In the afternoon I went to look for snow buntings - and they were exactly where I'd been told they'd be! My very first sighting of a male and a female ..

My blip is the male and here is the female ..

Then I went for a drive and saw this gorgeous sleepy tawny owl ..
