Sea of Rocks

With a morning low tide and clear blue sky it was a perfect time to walk to the far Eastern corner of Sandown Bay where Culver Cliff meets the sea. This end of the coastline is subject to constant rock falls as the soft chalk and sandstone succumbs to the forces of nature forming a large area of almost impenetrable slippery boulders which are a haven for all kinds of sea life.

With the bright sun and blue sky the light was rather bland so I converted the image to mono using Siver Efex. Not sure whether it has worked although it looks OK on my large screen.
