The Wall

A lot happens on the wall. People sit, meet, eat, sleep, walk along and watch the sea and sunsets from the wall. It was built with a Tsunami relief fund but I don't think that it would ever stop that kind of water. It does however protect a little from the high tides. The silhouettes I see here as we walk or cycle down this beach road distract me constantly ... a series of beautiful images. It is hard to be discreet here while taking pictures. somehow the locals always seem to know when there is a camera about!!

We are set up now with dongles and local sim card. Whew it takes some doing though. and it is never sure how long the connections will last. Maybe that is a good thing!
