It Lives!

The art of dry stone walling is not dead!

It is obviously alive and kicking in this region, as Dad and I came across this half-finished dry stone wall while walking the dog this morning.

I can understand why many of the old terrace walls are left to crumble though, as it's hard physical work to rebuild them, and also very time-consuming.

So well done to this farmer... whoever he is!
