Robin Redbreast....

Yesterday I spotted and photographed a cedar waxwing in a tree in the neighborhood - of course, I didn't have the zoom lens with me, so the photo is pretty poor quality. You can tell what it is, that's about it.

Today I went prepared, put the zoom lens on before I even left the house, but the cedar waxwings were nowhere in sight. There was a lovely flock of American robins though. They kept busy plucking and eating orange berries. Look large for good detail.

I'll keep going back to see if the CWWs reappear. They're such striking birds.
