History revived again

Once every 25 years the people of Scheveningen celebrate the arrival of Prince William of Orange who arrived in Holland at Scheveningen beach on November 30th in 1813... yes exactly 200 years ago.

The historic fact was replayed on the beach today before our present king and queen. And all celebrations of today also announce the various future ones as the 2 centuries of our constitutional & royal history will be celebrated till 2015.

This group of correctly dressed footfolk cheerfully posed for me & many other blipper / photographer after the show had ended (they were not allowed to have camera's along and thus all pictures made are welcome reminders sent by email)
