Speedy Great Spotted Woodpecker's peck
Makes a blur of her black-and-white neck
(While her spouse sports some red
At the back of his head).
They're so shy - only stay for a sec!

Bit blurred as this is taken through glass from some distance behind the window, as the bird is very wary and alert, and will soon fly off if she spots movement. Love to see her on the nuts, though!
