A bit of a squash

Quiet walk to work today, it was an Edinburgh holiday. I was only in the morning as I had my MRI scan today, weird feeling being in a tube and not being allowed to move. I just shut down and just lay there.

Eco mum and I met at the allotment and I checked on the last pumpkins, it was still there, decided to lift it and bring it home. We also picked the sweetcorm, beetroot , runner beans and the last of the cucumber.

Caught up on all the gossip about the stolen vegetables, quite a few plots have had stuff taken.

Very few things now growing, one aubergine and lots of chilli plants. must get down for a couple of hours to weed and tidy up for winter.

Back home and pickled the beetroot and chilling out.
