Here comes the sun...

I didn't really believe the BBC online weather - it said sun from 2-3pm. However, I stuck my camera in my shopping bag and met up with a friend for coffee. Four hours later, whilst wandering around town in a desperate quest for my favourite charity (diabetes) Christmas cards, the sun appeared!

A classic Abingdon scene: St Helen's Wharf. I never tire of it.

If you removed the cars and the railings it looked much the same a century ago. Indeed, the tall almshouse chimneys and church spire have been there for 300+ years.
