9:15 at Gaimersheim station. The Munich train arrives - on time.

Another long trip home. S-Bahn in Munich out to the airport. easyJet flight to Edinburgh. Bus to Inverkeithing station. Train from there to Kirkcaldy.

It is usually easier, but easyJet's winter timetable means that folk are working when they would otherwise drive me to/from airports. I could take my own car to Edinburgh Airport, but flight arrival time on the way back coincides with rush hour - I'm as well sitting in a bus as in my car.

Very cold & grey in Gaimersheim. -2c. A storm expected back in Scottieland, but overnight and not affecting my travel.
