Happy Birthday Biscuit

Happy Birthday my beautiful little Blue Boy! Biscuit is 9 years old today!

Biscuit is an amazing little dog. He is so friendly towards other dogs, people and animals. And the things we have done together… he is a tiny little dog, but we have been on some big adventures: Crufts, World-, European- and Nordic Championships, we have performed live on national prime time TV and won some pretty big titles. We have the best fun together when we train, go for walks or play in the water in the summer. It has been 9 amazing years with my little sheltie.

We have celebrated Biscuit’s Birthday in style. He got one of his favourite chews already, when we left for work this morning (top left picture) and it has kept him busy most of the day. It is all gone now though.
After work, we went for a walk (bottom right picture). There was a little bit of snow, which made the boys go all silly and happy :-). Biscuit got his present, when we came home. He got 6 non-slip mats (top right picture), to put on the floor, when the dark and cold weather force us to move our training sessions indoor. We have already tried them and they work really well. He also got 2 new toys and a bucket of treats.

The boys got a Birthday Cake each (bottom left picture) – made of bread, tuna in oil and dog food. Yummy!

All in all I think Biscuit has had a great Birthday!

It is still very windy and it is freezing cold. The storm has caused floodings in huge parts of Denmark. People are evacuated as the water keeps rising. Luckily I do not live near the coast, so we do not have to fear the water here.

And Nelson Mandela passed away last night. Rest In Peace, Mr. Mandela. A great man that changed history. The world is a better place because of him.
