Very early start .....

....... after about 3 hours sleep!

Phone call at 05.35 ........ SEVERE Flood Warning again ...... possible evacuation (see yesterday's backblip). At least everything was still upstairs ..... we had left it like that as we had been told the danger of flooding could continue for up to 48 hours!

Tuned into the local radio station for news ........ luckily the tidal surge wasn't as high as last night ...... so no more flooding.

We have been SO LUCKY ....... found out today that last night the water was less than 4 inches of a full breach of the defences ...... so it's so far so good ....... just hope it stays that way :-)

Youngest son has offered to send Noah with his Ark if necessary!!
