Saturday 9 June 2007: Got Ya
In the villages, as part of our Orgainc Farming programmes, we use Marigolds as a method of controlling pests.
The pic indicates how it works:
The pests are attrected to the marigolds rather than to the veggies.
This flower will be dried for it's seeds, which will be planted later
The villagers are very happy and , obviously, so are the pests
A win-win situation.
